Dr. Timothy Smith
Lead Pastor
Dr. Tim Smith
Tim was introduced to Christ by his parents, and as a child, he accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior. After graduating high school, he enlisted in the Air Force and later became a commissioned officer. God used Tim's Air Force career as a catalyst for his professional development, academic achievement, and, most importantly, spiritual growth. The Air Force is also where Tim developed a passion for serving and helping others.
One of his Air Force assignments moved him to the Montgomery, Alabama, area, where he joined a local church. During this time, he went on a mission trip to the Czech Republic, and after returning, he felt God’s call to the ministry. In obedience to that call, in 2005, he was licensed and ordained in the Gospel ministry and enrolled and completed seminary. The Air Force eventually moved him again, and he performed his military duties while simultaneously serving as the youth pastor at Trinity Baptist in Vacaville, California. Another assignment led him to Kleine Brogel, Belgium, where no
full-time, English-speaking pastor existed. Realizing God had given him another opportunity to minister, he became the unit chaplain.
In 2011, he traded his combat boots for full-time ministry. Since retiring from the Air Force, he has served as Associate Pastor at Thelma Baptist Church in Wetumpka, AL, and has served as the Senior Pastor at First Baptist Church Reeltown, since 2015. In April 2025, Tim completed a Doctorate of Ministry in Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University. He is also a Board-Certified Pastoral Counselor through the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC) and the International Board of Christian Care (IBCC).
Tim has been married to his wife, Dawn, since 1992. They have one son, Zach, a beautiful daughter-in-law, Amelia, and the cutest grandbaby in the world, Calleigh Grace.
1 Corinthians 13:13 (NLT) – “ Three things will last forever—faith, hope, and love—and the greatest of these is love.”

Nic Stockdale
Associate Pastor
Greetings, all! My name is Nic Stockdale and I surrendered to the call of full-time pastoral ministry in July 2016. I grew up in the church. I was saved at the age of 9 in 1991 under the preaching of Bro. Jimmy Allen. I began seminary at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary in Fall 2016 and graduated with a Master of Arts in Pastoral Ministry in May 2019.
I am thankful for the opportunities I have to be able to grow alongside our Senior Pastor, lead our Men’s Ministry, and lead our Small Group Ministries at FBCR. There has been an abundance of spiritual growth in individual and families’ lives, especially my own, over the past few years, and I am thankful for every opportunity I have to teach or preach the Gospel of Christ.
I married my wife, Audrey in July of 2006 and we have three children, Maddie
(16), Macon (12), and Vae (6). Audrey is the Principal at Reeltown High School and she enjoys serving beside me in ministry. Maddie, Macon and Vae all attend Reeltown schools and are active in our youth and children’s ministries at FBCR.
James 3:17 (NLT) – But the wisdom from above is first of all pure. It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and the fruit of good deeds. It shows no favoritism and is always sincere.

Tanner Rowell
Youth Pastor
My name is Tanner Rowell, and I am from a small town in South Alabama called Citronelle. God called me into the ministry at the age of sixteen. While I was unsure about the plan God had for my life, I knew that following His path for my life was the best decision I could ever make. I have been in ministry since 2016 and I am so thankful that God has given me the opportunity to preach His gospel.
My wife, Adrianna, and I have been married since 2021. In my free time, I enjoy watching Alabama football, hunting, fishing, and spending time with my beautiful wife! It is a blessing to serve as the Youth Pastor at First Baptist Church of Reeltown.
My favorite scripture is Joshua 1:9. The scripture reads as follows: “Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go."

Susie Seal
Worship Leader
“In My Heart There Rings a Melody”… I love this hymn… I love music… of all kinds.
My husband, David, and I have been members of FBCR since 2013. David serves the church body as a deacon and together we lead a wonderful small group called ReelPeople (because we are Real People, seeking and serving a Real God!). We have six sons, eight grandchildren and three great-grands. We are both retired from the US Postal Service. We love to travel but also love coming home to Reeltown… it is such a special place!
Serving as Worship Leader for FBCR is truly one of God’s greatest blessings. It is a position filled with joy but also awesome responsibility. I strive to lead our congregation in music that will touch their souls and encourage them in their personal time of worship. I believe God’s messages for us - and our praises to Him - can be found in all genres of music. For this reason, we do a mix of music, all scripturally sound. We sing hymns, gospel and contemporary music. As I mentioned before, I love them all!
Come… join us in praise and share the melody that is ringing in your heart!

Jessica Keyes
Children's Ministry Director
It is such an honor to serve as the Children's Ministry Director for First Baptist Church Reeltown. Getting to teach children about God’s love for them is the best job ever.
I am a Reeltown native and proud RHS graduate. Outside of church, I’m a fourth year teacher and I love being in a classroom. My husband Kevin and I have two boys, Beau and Baylor. We love to travel and explore new places. I also enjoy writing, illustrating, and gardening in my free time.
My favorite scripture is Ephesians 2:10. “For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago.” For me, It is a reminder that we were all created on purpose, for a purpose.

Judy Barber
Church Secretary
I am truly honored to serve alongside this amazing leadership team at First Baptist Reeltown. Blessed to be a wife of 57 years, a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, my family and my church family is at the heart of all I do. My background is in accounting, and after retiring from the Lee County Board of Education, I never imagined I would return to work. Yet, serving as the church secretary has brought me great joy and fulfillment. Through this role, I’ve discovered that my spiritual gift is serving and loving others. You’ll often find me on Wednesdays in the church kitchen, preparing meals before Bible study and sharing fellowship with some amazing families. We warmly invite you to join us!
