RC3 Vision: FBCR is a group of Spirit-filled Disciples who long to experience

Generous churches and generous church members do these four things well ….

The following organized teams provide opportunities for church members to
serve in these capacities.

Love Teams
In Reach
The focus of this team is to meet the life needs of people within a given church small group. Each small group would have an In Reach lead (these
leads will comprise the team). The In Reach leader will facilitate and organize in-reach activities for their specific small group. The In Reach leader can/should work with other teams, where applicable, to meet the needs of those within the
group. Examples may include organizing or providing meals/mowing grass/etc. when members within the small group have surgery or sickness.

Deacon Body
Deacon Body - The focus of this team is to meet the life needs of people who attend First Baptist Reeltown. Each deacon will be assigned families and will have the responsibility to oversee family need situations. At times, the needs may be met by other groups, but the assigned family deacon has primary responsibility to ensure the needs are being met.
Outreach
The focus of this team is to meet the life needs of people within the church who are not regular members of a given small group.

The focus of this team is to create, implement, and
facilitate a security plan/strategy protecting the congregation from harm and
danger while assembled.

Senior Adult Ministry (Hummingbirds)
The focus of this team is to provide Spiritual growth
opportunities/activities for the toddlers of the church during Wednesday P.M. and Sunday A.M. Services. This will be for toddlers 2-4 years old.

The focus of this team is to provide growth opportunities/activities/and care for the needs of senior adults of the church and local community. This will also include things like performing visits, writing cards, and sharing meals.
New Member/Believer Team
The focus of this team is to schedule and
facilitate a new believer/new member class for the church. (Note: The class curriculum has been developed for the church.)

Give Teams
Benevolence
The purpose of this team is to serve and make decisions in providing for the necessities of life to needy persons. This would include food, clothing, shelter, medical care, and other types of assistance to those in serious need.
Building and Grounds Upkeep/Maintenance
This team is responsible for identifying and meeting the building and grounds needs of the church and facilitating the completion of those tasks. This includes facilitating and organizing bi-annual work and clean-up days for the church campus and facilities, and identifying and completing building maintenance and upkeep projects. This does not include the regular mowing, trimming, and edging of the lawn.
Decorating Team
Wednesday Night Meal Team
This team’s focus is on creating a pleasing appearance inside the church. This includes, but is not limited to, decorating for holidays and special services.
This team will help prepare and provide meals for the Wednesday night gatherings.
Community Build Projects (Wheelchair Ramps, etc.)
RES/RHS School Liaison Team
This team meets community needs through small building projects/clean up/etc. of church and community members in need.
The focus of this team is to liaise with our local school leadership, overseeing and facilitating opportunities to enhance teacher/student morale and provide outreach.
Tech Team
Money Counting
The focus of this team is to build, upkeep, and facilitate a digital presence for FBCR using the “Subsplash” data suite (i.e., website, APP, sermon videos). This team will also manage and oversee the social media presence for the church (i.e., Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
Team members will be responsible for the counting and depositing of the tithes and offerings collected throughout the week from all of the services. These activities will take place after the Sunday morning service.
Welcome Team
The welcome team is the first people members and visitors see when they attend FBCR. This team is responsible for welcoming members and visitors inside and outside on Sunday mornings, Wednesday nights, and during special events. Greeters will inform and escort people to desired locations on the FBCR campus.
Go Team
Missions Team
The Missions Team will work with the pastor to develop, implement, and execute a local, regional, and worldwide gospel sending strategy for FBCR.
Note: Business meetings will be held quarterly on a Sunday evening. Each team
lead will present a verbal report on current activities, upcoming events, or needs.
A meal may be shared in the Fellowship Hall after the business meeting.
